Miller & Martin Hosted Reception for the German American Chamber of Commerce of the Southern U.S.

On Friday, November 22, 2013, Miller & Martin hosted a reception for the German American Chamber of Commerce of the Southern United States, Inc. ("GACC"), to celebrate the opening of its new Tennessee chapter office in Chattanooga, Tennessee and appointment of its new director. The office was dedicated with a ribbon cutting ceremony and welcoming remarks from U.S. Senator Bob Corker. Martina Stellmaszek, president and CEO of GACC South, and Mr. Andreas Havermann, plant manager of Barku Plastics, LLC and the new Tennessee chapter director, were among the others who spoke. Representatives from the many German companies in the Chattanooga Region were among those who attended.

The GACC South is a private, non-profit organization and serves as the official representative of German industry and trade in the 11 Southern states. Through the GACC South, members have access to support services and a large network of German companies doing business in the United States as well as the chamber network within Germany.

The new chapter office is located in the same building as Miller & Martin, 832 Georgia Avenue, Volunteer Building, Suite 1000, Chattanooga, Tennessee.
