    Megan Welton focuses her area of practice on Labor & Employment law. She has established knowledge by assisting senior attorneys defending clients in matters involving civil rights claims, including those alleging harassment and/or discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour violation, breach of contract and actions brought under other employment related state statutes. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Welton held several legal internships and externships throughout the state of Tennessee.

    Ms. Welton graduated cum laude from Sewanee: The University of the South, in 2012 where she obtained a B.A. in English. She was then selected as the recipient of the Herbert Herff Presidential Law Scholarship for academic merit and attended the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law. While attending law school, she received the Dean's Award for Excellence for both the Best Oral Advocate and Best Brief for Legal Methods II and received the CALI Awards (highest grade in the class) in five subjects. Ms. Welton graduated magna cum laude, earning her J.D. in 2015.
