Doug Berry Honored for Service as Honorary Consul

Doug Berry was honored at a reception on December 8, 2021 for his service as honorary consul of the Federal Republic of Germany for Tennessee from 2004 to 2021.  Melanie Moltmann, consul general of the Federal Republic of Germany in Atlanta, praised his commitment and 17 years of service, which included supporting Germany's diplomatic and consular mission and promoting bilateral relations between Germany and Tennessee in the areas of culture and foreign trade.

An attorney in the Nashville office of Miller & Martin, Mr. Berry concentrates his practice in land use and zoning, eminent domain, municipal law, state administrative law and commercial litigation, with a focus on disputes related to real estate. He also advises and represents private and public sector clients on antitrust and trade regulatory issues. He represents both land developers and municipalities in zoning and planning matters, as well as buyers and sellers in commercial real estate transactions.
