The breakfast session has reached maximum capacity, however, please join us for our lunch seminar."A Fair Day's Pay for a Fair Day's Work." This phrase has been around for a long time and has meant many different things throughout the course of history. It is also currently one of the themes of the Obama Administration and is being used by the Department of Labor (DOL) to underscore various initiatives – initiatives that are designed to give millions of Americans a pay raise. With the DOL's final rule implementing an increase in the salary level needed to classify an employee as exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) looming on the horizon, what are some things you need to be prepared for, from reclassification of employees, to restructuring compensation systems, to budgeting? And, what other initiatives do you need to be aware of that could have an impact on how or what amount you pay your employees? Come join us to find out.

This program has been submitted for 1.50 (HR (General)) recertification credit hours toward PHR, SPHR and GPHR recertification through the HR Certification Institute.
