The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) again delayed its deadline until November 10, 2018 for employers to ensure that crane operators are certified and competent to operate a crane safely. See the OSHA Trade Release here. Beginning in November 2018, unless delayed again, employers will need to make sure that crane operators are properly certified through a third-party certification process.
