Miller & Martin Adds Four New Associates Across Corporate, Commercial and Litigation Practices

The firm recently added four new associates across its corporate, commercial and litigation practices in the firm’s Atlanta, Georgia and Chattanooga, Tennessee offices. Mitch Blanchard and Varsha Ghodasra are in the corporate group, Rachael Waxler Ruiz is in the commercial group, and Haley Moody has joined the firm’s litigation practice.

Mitch Blanchard, Atlanta, practices with a focus on general corporate and securities issues, mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions and matters involving start-up and emerging companies. He graduated magna cum laude with a B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Georgia and earned his J.D. from Duke University School of Law, where he served as Senior Staff Editor of the Duke Journal of Constitutional Law and Public Policy.

Varsha Ghodasra, Chattanooga, focuses her practice on complex business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, and advising clients on corporate governance issues. Her bar admissions include Tennessee, Illinois, New York and Pennsylvania. She earned her J.D. from the University of Georgia and B.A. in English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Haley Moody, Chattanooga, concentrates her practice in Litigation. Moody earned her J.D. from Tulane University Law School. She graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in History from the University of Alabama, where she was a Presidential Scholar and competed in varsity NCAA Division I Cross-Country and Track & Field.

Rachael Waxler Ruiz, Chattanooga, focuses her practice in the area of commercial real estate and also has experience with matters involving environmental law and workplace safety/OSHA. Ruiz graduated from Tulane University where she obtained a B.A. in Environmental Policy and International Relations. She received her J.D. from Tulane University Law School and was the recipient of the C.J. Morrow Scholars Scholarship Award. She is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association.
