Miller & Martin Elects New Managing Member of the Atlanta Office

Miller & Martin is pleased to announce Michael P. Marshall, Jr. was elected Managing Member for the Atlanta Office. Along with managing the Atlanta office, Mr. Marshall is Vice-Chair of the Corporate Department and serves on the firm’s Policy Committee, which functions as the firm’s managing board of directors.

Miller & Martin Chairman Scott Parrish shared, “I look forward to working with Mike in his new role.  As managing member of the Atlanta office, Mike will focus on the daily management of the office and support the firm’s growth and strategic initiatives in the Atlanta market, along with continuing to grow his practice.”  

Mr. Marshall concentrates his practice on business law with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, securities, corporate governance and general commercial transactions. He represents companies across a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, technology and hospitality.  Mr. Marshall has a particularly active practice in the financial institutions area, including commercial banks and their holding companies.  His banking practice focuses on securities law issues, mergers and acquisitions and a wide range of regulatory compliance issues.  Since 2013, Mr. Marshall has been recognized among The Best Lawyers in America© in the area of Banking and Finance Law.

Mr. Marshall holds a law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law and an undergraduate degree in accounting from the University of Virginia.
