Miller & Martin Associate, Meghan Gordon, authors article, "Georgia Legislative Update on Enforceability of CRE Contracts", explaining how Georgia is due to change the legal framework governing all contracts for real property. The legal framework, referred to as the Statute of Frauds, requires any contract for the sale, disposition, finance or transfer of real estate to be in writing. Meghan’s article details the case law precedent tried through 2018, which altered the state’s rule for ancillary oral agreements.
