Mallen Addresses OSHA Regulatory and Legislative Updates at the Environmental Show of the South

Attorney Mike Mallen will present “OSHA Safety & Health Critical New Regulatory and Legislative Developments, Updates and Hot Topics” on Thursday, May 17, 2018 as part of the Environmental Law track offered at the 47th Annual Environmental Show of the South Conference held May 16-18, 2018 at the Chattanooga Convention Center. Hosted annually by the Tennessee Department of Environment & Conservation (TDEC), the Environmental Show of the South is billed as the largest and most comprehensive environmental conference and tradeshow in the region attracting more than 1200 people to hear up-to-the-minute information from leading environmental agencies, industry partners, attorneys and service providers.
Mallen has spent 30 years immersed in heavy industry, manufacturing, environmental brownfields restoration and associated regulatory enforcement. Having served as owner, executive and in-house legal counsel for heavy manufacturers and brownfields developers, he provides practical, real-world experience to his clients, offering a unique perspective of client needs and the risks associated with Federal, state and local regulators and enforcement authorities. In addition to being called upon by the U. S. House of Representatives to testify about, and to assist in, the reform of Federal CERCLA “Superfund” laws, Mallen co-chairs the firm’s Workplace Safety/OSHA Group. He and his team have successfully managed and resolved a multitude of workplace safety and health and environmental enforcement matters for local and national clients.
