An affiliate of Dewberry Capital Corporation, a leading real estate company headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, has successfully closed a $72 million refinancing of The Campanile Building located at 1155 Peachtree Street in Atlanta. Miller & Martin represented Dewberry in this complex refinancing, leading the transaction for the borrower, which included both first lien mortgage and projected mezzanine financing. Miller & Martin coordinated this work with Delaware and New York counsel.

Amidst significant competition in 2010, Dewberry purchased the 21 story, 452,500 square foot, Class 'A' Campanile office tower in Midtown Atlanta for $36 million. Dewberry completed a multi-million dollar interior and exterior renovation of Campanile in 2012/2013, offering the market a fresh, state of the art product. Dewberry's future plans include an additional 50,000 square feet of street level, urban retail at Campanile's Peachtree and 14th Street location.

The Miller & Martin real estate team included Randy Scoggins, LaWanna Dimmerling, Kent Antley, Bob Goodman and Jonathan Smith in the Atlanta office and Bobby Dann and Nick Whittenburg in the Chattanooga office.
