Tom Harrold Selected Finalist for Governor's International Awards, Individual of the Year

On October 2, 2014, the Atlanta Business Chronicle hosted their annual World Showcase & Governor's International Awards, which honors Atlanta's international business leaders. Miller & Martin is pleased to announce that one of our own, Tom Harrold, was named a finalist in the state for the "Individual of the Year" award. Mr. Harrold has recruited international companies such as Japan's Suzuki, Taiwan's J-M Manufacturing and Canada's Novelis HQ to the state of Georgia. He has helped locate many more international projects in Hawkinsville, Adairsville, Adel, Norcross, Macon, Carrollton, Jefferson, Gainesville and many other cities across the state. Mr. Harrold is extremely involved in the German community and in 1978 he helped establish the German American Chamber of Commerce (GACC) in Atlanta. In 2008, Mr. Harrold organized the 60th anniversary celebration of the Berlin Airlift at Dobbins Air Force Base. In 2003, Mr. Harrold was the GACC organizer who brought former President George H.W. Bush, former German Chancellor Helmut Kohl and former Soviet President Mikhail S. Gorbachev to the Unification Conference in Atlanta.
