Attorneys Accurso, Dietrichs, McKenna, Vey Join Miller & Martin in Atlanta

Miller & Martin is pleased to announce attorneys Elizabeth Accurso, David Dietrichs, Cory McKenna and Alexander Vey have joined the firm as associates in the Atlanta office.

Elizabeth Accurso focuses her practice on litigation and alternative dispute resolution, with experience in insurance coverage, civil litigation and construction litigation. Before joining Miller & Martin, she practiced for three years with another Atlanta firm and served as an Extern for the Georgia Attorney General in the Government Counsel Division. Accurso holds a J.D. from Emory University School of Law and a B.A. in English and Political Science from the University of Florida. She is licensed in Georgia and Tennessee.

David Dietrichs focuses his practice on government relations, economic development, tax incentives and other corporate matters. Prior to joining Miller & Martin, Dietrichs served as Deputy Counsel for the Georgia Department of Economic Development and Director of Legal Affairs and Compliance for the Technical College System of Georgia, assisting in managing Georgia’s Workforce System and assisting various agencies with workforce and economic development matters. Appointed by Governor Deal, he also served as Georgia’s State-Level Equal Opportunity Officer for its federally funded workforce programs. Dietrichs holds a J.D. from Georgia State University’s College of Law and a B.A. from University of Alabama. He is licensed in Georgia.

Cory McKenna focuses his practice on commercial real estate development, investing and leasing. He previously clerked for the Honorable Gregory P. McGuire of the North Carolina Business Court in Raleigh, N.C. and served as Judicial Extern for Justice Samuel J. Ervin IV of the North Carolina Supreme Court. McKenna holds a J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law and a B.A. from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. McKenna is licensed in North Carolina and is seeking bar admission in Georgia.

Alexander Vey is a litigator, with an emphasis on white collar criminal defense. Previously, he spent two years as part of the Criminal Appeals Division serving as Assistant Attorney General for the State of Tennessee, briefing and arguing cases before the Tennessee Court of Criminal Appeals and Tennessee Supreme Court. Vey also interned for the Davidson County District Attorney’s Office and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Tennessee. He holds a J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School and a B.A. in Political Science and International Affairs from the University of Georgia. Vey is licensed in Georgia and Tennessee.
