This session will answer some of the more challenging questions relating to the FMLA and ADA, as well as ongoing COVID-19 issues. Examples include:
- What to do when an employee refuses to provide FMLA paperwork?
- Can an employee agree to “make up” FMLA leave?
- How to transition an employee from FMLA leave to another form of leave and how to know when you can let them go.
- When should time off due to COVID-19 qualify as either FMLA leave or a reasonable accommodation under the ADA, if ever?
