Miller & Martin Participates in World Law Group State of the Automotive Industry Panel Discussion
Miller & Martin’s Corporate Attorney April Holland, an active member of the firm’s Automotive Practice and a World Law Group member firm representative, participated as a panelist for the World Law Group’s State of the Automotive Industry webinar titled “Shifting of the Gears – The Changing Global Landscape for Automotive” on June 9, 2026.
A critical industry globally, this session brought together automotive experts from around the world who examined how the landscape for the automotive industry is evolving and what that means in their respective jurisdictions. Panelists addressed key issues including:
- The impact of geopolitical issues on the automotive industry
- Changing consumer behavior including the death of the bricks and mortar dealership model
- Increased regulator activity and litigation especially in relation to consumer protection
- The rise of mega dealerships – M&A activity
- The impact of AI
- The impact of tariffs and environmental laws
Other panelists included representatives from other World Law Group member firms from Australia, Europe, and Asia.
