Miller & Martin PLLC has completed a comprehensive renovation of its Atlanta office at Regions Plaza, the 503,000-square-foot office tower off West Peachtree Street in Midtown. The project, designed by ASD|SKY and led by general contractor Humphries, came in approximately six weeks ahead of schedule.
The renovation represents a significant investment in the firm’s Atlanta presence. Miller & Martin first moved to Regions Plaza in 2014 and last year renewed its lease for another 13 years, occupying 34,000 square feet across the 24-story tower. The redesign was conceived to modernize the space, improve functionality and create more opportunities for attorney and staff collaboration throughout the workday.

The project touched nearly every part of the office. Conference rooms and a large multipurpose room were upgraded with new audiovisual capabilities to better support client meetings and internal gatherings. A new social center and breakroom anchors the collaborative core of the office, providing generous space for attorneys and staff to work together informally. The social center is also designed to open up and function in conjunction with the multipurpose room, giving the firm a flexible venue for larger firm events and programming.
Individual offices were right-sized and redesigned with three-foot-wide glass inserts to bring more natural light into the interior of the floor. Lighter paint and carpet selections and LED lighting throughout reinforce the brighter, more open feel. Every office was outfitted with new furniture, including electronic sit-stand desks and credenzas, giving attorneys and staff the ability to move between sitting and standing throughout the day.

The completed project reflects a broader shift in how law firms are thinking about their physical offices. Rather than reducing footprint and walking away from in-person work, Miller & Martin’s renovation signals a commitment to the office as a place worth investing in, designed to function well for the way attorneys and staff actually work today.
