Nathan Cates practices within the firmโs Commercial department, focusing on real estate, commercial finance, and economic development.ย Prior to attending law school, Mr. Cates was a teacher at Tyner Academy in Hamilton County.ย ย
Mr. Cates holds a law degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law with a Business Transactions concentration.ย He was an acquisitions editor for the Tennessee Law Review and a staff editor for theย Transactions: The Tennessee Journal ofย Business Law.ย He also earned his bachelor of science in history education from Lee University.ย ย
