Grant Dobson concentrates his practice in the areas of real estate development, construction and finance, and commercial finance and lending. He handles loan transactions for a national insurance company for projects throughout the United States. He represents real estate developers and operators in connection with the development, operation and financing of retail, office, residential and other commercial projects throughout the Midwest, Southwest and Southeast, including mixed-use developments in Kentucky and Tennessee. He represents national and regional companies in connection with zoning issues, real property taxes matters and other matters involving state and local government regulation. He has represented regional restaurant companies developing restaurants throughout the Southeast. He serves as real estate counsel to senior healthcare companies in the acquisition, development, operation and financing of senior care facilities throughout the Southeast including Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac financing for such facilities. He provides real estate counsel and assistance to the firm’s Corporate Department in transactions involving owned and leased real estate projects throughout the country. He has served as Tennessee local counsel in numerous multi-state transactions involving Tennessee property and collateral.
