FMLA Summer Camp 2026

Summer Camp Details:

This 3-hour in-depth but engaging session will begin with a brief overview of the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) followed by a deep dive into FMLA documentation issues. Then, we will close with a discussion of common FMLA leave challenges, including how FMLA leave interacts with other employer responsibilities such as providing leave and other accommodations in the ADA, pregnancy, and workers’ compensation contexts. We also will cover strategies to employ if you suspect FMLA leave fraud or abuse.

We will offer a light continental-style breakfast, and the session will include two 15-minute breaks to stretch your legs, grab a snack and check your email.

The only thing you need to pack for this summer camp is a list of your organization’s pressing FMLA questions! Our camp counselor, Stacie Caraway, will take care of the rest – leaving you feeling “cool as a fan” when it comes to tackling hot-button workplace leave and accommodation issues.
