Attorney April Holland Selected Among Chatter Magazine's 2023 20 Under 40 Honorees

Miller & Martin corporate transactional attorney April Holland has been featured among the young professionals selected for Chatter magazine's 2023 20 Under 40. Each honoree shares their thoughts on a mix of work and life topics in a Q&A-formatted interview in the article entitled "Young People are Revolutionizing the Workforce. Meet Chatter's 2023 20 Under 40."
According to Chatter, "Young people are revolutionizing the workforce, leading the way in new technology, inclusive spaces and a push for a healthier work-life balance. Each year, we search for Chattanooga's best and brightest professionals under the age of 40. We receive hundreds of nominations, and the selection process is as challenging as it is inspiring."
April Holland is a Member in Miller & Martin’s corporate department. She joined the firm in 2013 and was promoted to Member in 2020. She works with privately held companies through all stages of mergers and acquisition transaction matters on both the buyer and seller sides. Ms. Holland also counsels individuals and companies in a wide range of general corporate law matters, including but not limited to, fund formation, securities and investment advisory matters, and state franchise registration filings. Ms. Holland has experience in industries ranging from technology, healthcare, flooring, transportation, insurance and bottling.
Mid-South Super Lawyers® has recognized Ms. Holland among “Rising Stars” in the area of Mergers & Acquisitions and she was also selected for the Hot List honor by Lawyers of Color. She’s a member of the American Bar Association, Chattanooga Bar Association and the Tennessee Bar Association. In the community, April recently joined the Board of Directors for the Erlanger Health System Foundation. She is also a former board member and former board president of Northside Neighborhood House and former board member and secretary of Causeway. She is a Class of 2016 Leadership Chattanooga alumni and member of the Rotaract Club of Chattanooga. An ambassador and advisor for start-up companies and entrepreneurs, Ms. Holland has also been involved with The Company Lab and LAUNCH Chattanooga in past years.
Ms. Holland represents Miller & Martin through her active involvement with the World Law Group, a global network of leading independent law firms that provides member firms and their clients with seamless legal solutions across numerous jurisdictions in 92 countries. She stays connected with attorneys from World Law Group firms around the globe by attending annual conferences, frequent webinars, and other networking opportunities. She is also a leader within the law firm serving as chair of Miller & Martin's Chattanooga Recruiting and Hiring Committees and as a member/past chair of the Diversity & Inclusion Committee, as well as an active member of the firm’s Women’s Network.
