Miller & Martin is excited to announce that it recently represented Southeast Lineman Training Center (“SLTC”) and Sovereign’s Capital in a recapitalization transaction of SLTC, one of the largest and top schools for electrical and communications lineworker training. The transaction, led by FourBridges Capital Advisors, reflected that SLTC had experienced significant growth over the past four years after Sovereign’s Capital had invested in it, and SLTC, its founders and Sovereign’s Capital were looking for additional partners to invest in the company’s future. With additional investment, SLTC will continue to grow and accommodate more students among surging demand for linemen due to the national focus on upgrading the power grid and communications infrastructure, along with the widespread retirement of veteran linemen.
